|Steelers | PIT starters out second preseason game|
Tue, 16 Aug 2016 08:42:56 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Bell, Brown and Big Ben are all amidst the first pack in fantasy at their respective positions. D-Will is an RB3 as he'll take a backseat when Bell returns from his suspension.

|Steelers | Pittsburgh to sit several players|
Wed, 10 Aug 2016 11:15:00 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, RB Le'Veon Bell, RB DeAngelo Williams, WR Antonio Brown and C Maurkice Pouncey will not play in the preseason game against the Detroit Lions Friday, Aug. 12.
Fantasy Tip: All of the players will be rested and should play in the next few preseason games. Brown likely will be one of the first players selected in drafts, while Bell probably will be a No. 1 running back once he returns from his suspension. Roethlisberger should also be a No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues. Williams will have increased value over the first month of the season with Bell out but should also be a flex option when Bell returns.

|Steelers | Little chance Le'Veon Bell wins appeal|
Wed, 27 Jul 2016 19:03:49 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell has vowed not to miss any games due to suspension for reportedly missing several drug tests, but no sources with knowledge of the situation believe he has a strong chance to win the appeal. As such, RB DeAngelo Williams would be in line to carry the load until Bell returns.
Fantasy Tip: He is still worth drafting as an RB1, but you'll obviously either need to draft DeAngelo Williams early or have plenty of depth on hand to fill the void in the first four games if his suspension is indeed upheld. Bell is a top-notch option when he is on the field.

|Steelers | DeAngelo Williams feeling great|
Wed, 20 Jul 2016 16:43:32 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Williams is coming off a terrific 2015 season and should receive decent playing time as a No. 2 running back this season. He should be selected in the middle to late rounds of most fantasy drafts.

|Steelers | Pittsburgh may have two RBs in backfield|
Sun, 17 Jul 2016 14:55:53 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell said he believes there will be times that he and RB DeAngelo Williams will be on the field at the same time. "There are definitely going to be packages where me and 'D-Lo' are going to be out there at the same time," Bell said. "I'm ready for that."
Fantasy Tip: Bell will receive most of the work at running back in 2016 but Williams should see decent playing time because of his solid play last season. Bell probably would be more of a receiver if both are on the field at the game time, which would help his fantasy value. Bell should be selected in the first round, while Williams could be a middle- to late-round option in drafts.

|Steelers | DeAngelo Williams will be used|
Thu, 09 Jun 2016 09:30:34 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB DeAngelo Williams will be used by offensive coordinator Todd Haley in 2016 despite the return of RB Le'Veon Bell from injury. "I think the difference between last year and this year is that we got a big body of work from DeAngelo last year," said Haley. "We got to see him do a lot of things, and obviously he did a very good job for us. Knowing a lot more about him will maybe help give Le'Veon more rest when he needs it, although knowing Le'Veon he never wants to come off."
Fantasy Tip: Williams proved very valuable as a waiver-wire darling last year after Bell went down with injury, so he's surely capable of being productive with fewer carries, too. However, it remains to be seen how much he'll be used, and as long as Bell is healthy, Williams' fantasy value remains low.

|Steelers | DeAngelo Williams cleared|
Wed, 06 Apr 2016 09:42:44 -0700
Fantasy Tip: With Le'Veon Bell's (knee) status murky, Williams could open the season with enhanced value again. However, he's more of an RB4 or a handcuff to Bell that doesn't figure to see a big chunk of work when Bell is healthy.

|Steelers | No surgery for DeAngelo Williams|
Wed, 20 Jan 2016 12:54:56 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Le'Veon Bell should be healthy and ready to go this offseason, too, which means Williams would once again assume his backup role. He filled in very nicely for Bell this season, but he won't receive a lot of playing time in 2016 if Bell can stay healthy.

|Steelers | DeAngelo Williams ruled out|
Fri, 15 Jan 2016 09:44:22 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Williams was never really expected to play this weekend. Fitzgerald Toussaint ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) and Jordan Todman ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) were both pretty productive in splitting the backfield duties in the wild-card round, but they face a much stiffer test this weekend. With a banged up Big Ben under center, both running backs are a tougher sell on FantasyScore.
