Atlanta Braves 2B Dan Uggla hit his second spring home run in as many days Thursday, March 15, and he's hitting .308 with team highs with three home runs and five extra-base hits. He has seven RBIs in 26 at-bats. "You can track as many pitches as you want, but until you swing and you're making contact it's really tough to get that timing," Uggla said. "My 12th year (of pro ball), I finally figured out how to get a better approach in March. It's weird."

Atlanta Braves 2B Dan Uggla is feeling more comfortable in camp already this season than he did last year. "I already know where my place is on this team," said Uggla. "I already know that everybody here respects me as a ballplayer, the way I go about my business. Now it's not like trying to set the stage."

In 26 games during the month, Uggla was tied for the major league lead and tops in the National League with 10 home runs, while his 21 RBI were good for sixth in the NL. He also finished among the league leaders with a .670 slugging percentage and a .405 on-base percentage.
