Titans | White vows to stick to diet

Jim Wyatt, of The Nashville Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans RB LenDale White said he will stick with his strict diet during his time off before training camp. "I am not going to let it all go to waste, not the way I feel. My body feels good  my knees, my ankles, everything feels great out there. And I am trying to keep it that same exact way. So whatever I have to do, I am going to maintain. And when I check into camp (my weight) won't be nothing over 230," White said.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson said he knows people are saying he is not a "team guy" based off his recent comments about wanting to be known as "Every Coach's Dream." Johnson said he is an entertaining guy and people have the wrong opinion about him after the comments. "People just can't get sensitive off a nickname," Johnson noted. He said there are not any problems between he and RB LenDale White. "We love playing with each other. We're friends," Johnson said.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher isn't sure RB Chris Johnson's self-proclaimed nickname, "Every Coach's Dream," fits. "Maybe with a few exceptions - playing the bongos ... and getting hurt in the playoff game," Fisher said. "I'm sure they'll come up with something else," Fisher said. "Dumb and Dumber or something." RB LenDale White also chimed in. "He's a little delirious. When he wakes up out of the dream he'll be all right. And the one thing about dreams is they are not real," White added. "I don't know him right now. I think it's the Pro Bowl stuff - ya'll created somebody we don't want to see."

Terry McCormick, of The Nashville City Paper, reports Tennessee Titans RB LenDale White weighed in at 238 pounds when he reported to the Titans' offseason program. That is the lightest White has been since joining the Titans. He said he weighed in at 261 pounds last October. "I feel amazing," White said. "I don't really care if I have an ab or not," White said. He is using a fumble in the playoffs as motivation. "I'm beyond motivated," White said.

Terry McCormick, of The City Paper, reports no criminal charges will be filed against Tennessee Titans RB LenDale White in a matter that occurred Feb. 14, in Denver. Police responded to an alleged assault that had taken place on Leslie Joe Hoch, who was in an argument with three men. According to the police report, an unidentified man apparently with White began arguing with Hoch about a minor vehicle accident. Hoch claimed the first man started shoving and striking him and that a man, listed on the police report as believed to be White, hit him with a belt and belt buckle. The facts of the case were presented to the Denver District Attorney's Office Monday, Feb. 23, but the case was refused for prosecution based on evidence that was conflicting in key aspects of the reported version of the matter.
