USAToday.com reports the St. Louis Cardinals reassigned P Hyang-nam Choi, RP Justin Fiske, SP Brad Furnish, P Shaun Garceau, P Trey Hearne, P Tyler Herron, P Katsuhiko Maekawa, RP Ian Ostlund, P Francisco Samuel, C Tony Cruz, C Luis De La Cruz, C Steven Hill, C Justin Knoedler, 3B David Freese and 3B Brett Wallace to minor league camp.

The Korea Times' Moon Gwang-lip reports the Cleveland Indians signed P Hyang-nam Choi to a minor league contract. He's set to leave for the United States in February to train with the team. He missed the 2004 season with a shoulder injury, but returned last year to go 2-5 with a 4.10 ERA in the Korean League.
