The Arizona Republic reports the Arizona Diamondbacks have disclosed the names of the 17 non-roster invitees to spring camp. Included are Ps T.J. Beam, Josh Ellis, Barry Enright, Kyler Newby, Rodrigo Lopez, Wes Roemer, Bryan Shaw, Matt Torra and Thomas Layne, Cs Carlos Corporan, Sean Coughlin and Konrad Schmidt, IFs Jeff Bailey and Mark Hallberg, OFs Collin Cowgill, Evan Frey and Drew Macias.

Diamondbacks | Sign three to minor league deals

MLB.com's Steve Gilbert reports that the Arizona Diamondbacks have signed RP T.J. Beam (Blue Jays), C Carlos Corporan (Brewers) and OF Drew Macias (Padres) to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training.

The Canadian Press reports the Toronto Blue Jays reassigned P Bryan Bullington Wednesday, March 11, to the minor leagues. P T.J. Beam and OF Buck Coats were outrighted to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Dejan Kovacevic, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports the Pittsburgh Pirates designated RP T.J. Beam for assignment Friday, Jan. 30. The team is hoping he will clear waivers so they can send him to Triple-A Indianapolis.

Pirates | Large number of players expected for minicamp

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Dejan Kovacevic reports 17 pitchers, four catchers and seven position players are expected to attend the team's minicamp this week in Bradenton, Fla. Pitchers attending include Paul Maholm, Zach Duke, Ian Snell, Tom Gorzelanny, Ross Ohlendorf, Jeff Karstens, Jimmy Barthmaier, Matt Capps, John Grabow, T.J. Beam, Sean Burnett, Jesse Chavez, Evan Meek, Dave Davidson, Jeff Sues, Donnie Veal and Daniel McCutchen. Phil Dumatrait (shoulder) will be there, although his recent shoulder setback will keep him from pitching. Catchers Ryan Doumit, Jason Jaramillo, Robinzon Diaz and Steve Lerud are expected to attend, as well as outfielders Brandon Moss, Nyjer Morgan, Steve Pearce and Andrew McCutchen, and infielders Andy LaRoche, Brian Bixler and Neil Walker.

Pirates | Beam earns save Tuesday

R.B. Fallstrom, of The Associated Press, reports Pittsburgh Pirates RP T.J. Beam earned his first career save Tuesday, Aug. 19. He became the seventh pitcher on the team to record a save this season, the most since eight Pirates pitchers had saves in 1996.
