Colorado Rockies 2B Hernan Iribarren went hitless in three at-bats with two strikeouts Sunday, March 13, but he is still batting .300 and under consideration for a utility role, reports Thomas Harding, of MLB.com. "He's basically played himself onto the radar screen," manager Jim Tracy said. "He's got energy, he's shown us some versatility, he's taken very good at-bats and competed very well."

The team also told C Carlos Corporan, P Lindsey Gulin and P Wes Littleton they were headed to Triple-A Nashville after the weekend.
