Texas Rangers P Omar Beltre (back), who had spinal surgery Feb. 22, was in camp Saturday, March 12, reports Anthony Andro, of The Dallas Morning News. Assistant general manager Thad Levine said the surgery was a success, and symptoms Beltre had been feeling from the narrowing of the spine are gone. It's uncertain if or when Beltre will be able to resume his pitching career.

The Texas Rangers have agreed to terms with SS Elvis Andrus, IF Andres Blanco, OF Craig Gentry and Ps Omar Beltre, Eric Hurley and Alexi Ogando on one-year contracts, according to The Sports Network. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Texas Rangers P Omar Beltre (spine) underwent spinal surgery Wednesday, Feb. 23, and could begin his rehab this weekend, according to ESPNDallas.com's Richard Durrett. Beltre will need six to eight weeks before he begins baseball activities.
