Panthers | Greg Olsen could hold out

Wed, 21 Jun 2017 07:21:34 -0700

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen doesn't rule out holding out of training camp for a new contract.

Fantasy Tip: The 32-year-old has three straight 1,000-yard seasons, but last year's three touchdowns really hurt his stock. He's still an effective, high-end TE1 in fantasy. However, the ceiling might not be as high as others in that tier.

Panthers | Greg Olsen at practice

Fri, 30 Dec 2016 08:40:45 -0800

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (elbow) returned to practice Friday, Dec. 30.

Sat, 24 Dec 2016 15:49:11 -0800

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen finished with a team-high six receptions for 59 yards on 12 targets in the Week 16 game against the Atlanta Falcons. He became the first tight end in NFL history to record 1,000 receiving yards in three straight seasons.

Fantasy Tip: Olsen might not be thought about like New England's Rob Gronkowski when it comes to fantasy value, but at least he is durable and consistent. He will be a Top 5 fantasy tight end again in 2017, as he is showing no signs of slowing down.
