They argued face to face, but no punches were thrown. Guillen knocked over a few chairs before several players separated them. Guillen was in the starting lineup, and went 0-for-4, with two strikeouts. "It's been handled in-house and honestly," manager Trey Hillman said. "It's a non-issue. It's not a big deal. It's not going to characterize anybody."

"I want to break him in out of the pen," McClure said, "but he'll pitch longer than a short reliever. I can't say he's not a likely candidate (for the rotation). I can't put it to you that way. I'm going to have to watch him pitch."
