Former Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington may reunite with his old team, the Oakland Athletics, to serve as an infield coach and special instructor.
Fantasy Tip: Normally daily leagues and other fantasy leagues don't penalize for defense, and this is what Washington is expected to shore up. Still, Washington's arrival could produce stronger results for players like Marcus Semien ($4,700, 9.4% of cap) and other infielders.

Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington does not appear to be concerned with the recent struggles of OF Shin-Soo Choo. Washington said his competitive nature is probably contributing to him pressing. "But he's been around the game long enough to handle it," Washington said.
Fantasy Tip: Choo has struck out six times in the past two games. Keep an eye on this situation moving forward, but keep using Choo as you normally would for now.
