Cincinnati Reds owner Bob Castellini has not ruled out the fact that the team will try to re-sign 1B Joey Votto when he becomes eligible for free agency after the 2013 season. The large contracts given to Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1B Albert Pujols and Detroit Tigers 1B Prince Fielder will surely influence Votto's market. Cincinnati has also repeatedly denied interest in trading Votto.
