Patrick Saunders, of The Denver Post, reports Colorado Rockies 1B Todd Helton (back) is recovering from back surgery, but it is not known how long it will take for him to get back to 100 percent. General manager Dan O'Dowd said that Helton has not suffered any setbacks in his rehab. However, the team has no idea what kind of shape Helton will be in come Spring Training.
