A woman has been arrested in Chicago for allegedly stalking Chicago Cubs president Theo Epstein. Kathleen Kearney, 44, who is from Canton, Mass., was charged with two counts of felony stalking.

Red Sox | Not expected to receive additional compensation from Chicago

The Boston Red Sox are unlikely to receive a different player from the Chicago Cubs as compensation for former general manager Theo Epstein, even though P Christopher Carpenter (elbow) is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on his right elbow to remove a bone spur. The Red Sox had complete access to Carpenter's medical records and he passed two physicals - one from the Cubs and one from the Red Sox - before the deal was finalized.

However, it is unknown whether that comment refers to the date when pitchers and catchers report or when position players report.

The Boston Red Sox's compensation from the Chicago Cubs for executive Theo Epstein is still unsettled, and commissioner Bud Selig didn't enforce a deadline because he decided that the two teams had more pressing issues to take care of. However, the two clubs decided that the Cubs will be prohibited from hiring any executives from the BoSox for a period of three years. The Red Sox aren't expected to receive any more than a mid-level prospect from the Cubs as compensation.
