Baltimore Orioles OF Nolan Reimold (neck) received his second epidural injection Friday, May 25. C Taylor Teagarden (back) was examined by a specialist Friday and will head back to extended spring training.

Baltimore Orioles C Taylor Teagarden (back) has resumed a stabilization program for his back in extended spring camp. Manager Buck Showalter said Tuesday, May 15, that Teagarden is feeling much better.

The Baltimore Orioles recalled INF Steven Tolleson from Triple-A Norfolk Wednesday, May 9, and optioned RP Zach Phillips in a corresponding move. C Taylor Teagarden (back) is expected to be moved to the 60-day disabled list.

Baltimore Orioles SP Dana Eveland is an option to join the rotation and start Friday, May 11, after he was removed from his start with Triple-A Norfolk Monday, May 7. He's given up just nine earned runs in 36 2/3 innings this year. The team could move 2B Brian Roberts (concussion) to the 60-day disabled list to make room on the 40-man roster. C Taylor Teagarden (back) could also be put on the 60-day DL.

Baltimore Orioles C Taylor Teagarden (back) will begin the 2012 season on the disabled list, which means C Ronny Paulino will serve as the backup to C Matt Wieters. Teagarden had a second epidural injection in his lower back Monday, March 26. He's eligible to come off the DL April 10 in a "best-case scenario."
