New York Jets FB Sean Bennett was moved to LB during the team's afternoon practice on Friday, August 8, according to Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record. The move does not bode well for Bennett's chances to make the roster as a FB, a position that is already crowded.

New York Jets head coach Herman Edwards said RB Sean Bennett has a chance to make the team. He noted he's able to catch the ball and is very, very fast. He did, however, note that Bennett has had a history of being injured.

Michael Eisen for Giants.com reports New York Giants head coach Jim Fassel said the team is moving RB Sean Bennett to WR to help out their current situation. Bennett was an All-State WR in high school and doesn’t see the switch as a problem at all.
