Updating an earlier item, the Tacoma News Tribune's Corey Brock reports Seattle Mariners minor league P Natanael Mateo, who was just acquired as part of the deal that sent C Miguel Olivo to the San Diego Padres, is a 24-year-old hard-throwing right-handed pitcher. Mateo went 3-4 with a 3.08 ERA at Double-A Mobile in the Padres' system and will be assigned to Double-A San Antonio.
