Free-agent RB Tiki Barber (Giants) is reportedly devastated that no team gave him a shot at earning a roster spot. "We are flabbergasted that Tiki has not had an opportunity with any team, especially when rosters were at 90 players this year. I certainly thought some team would be intrigued to see what he had left in the tank," said Barber's agent, Mark Lepselter.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Ronde Barber said free-agent RB Tiki Barber (Giants) is looking good and has been working out for the past several months. "He's prepared. He looks like did preretirement," Barber said. "He really dedicated himself and has been in there working out for four months. The only thing he doesn't have is the on-field endurance. He's very adept at what he used to do. I don't see him having a problem. The one thing he can't fail at is football. He had somewhat mastered it when he retired."

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Ronde Barber said he does not expect the team to pursue free-agent RB Tiki Barber (Giants) once free agency begins. "It was an entertaining thought four or five years ago," Barber said. "I don't know how realistic it is now. I've not had a chance to talk to [general manager Mark Dominik] or [head coach Raheem Morris] about it. Maybe the situation would be a little different under different circumstances. But I know he wants to go somewhere where feels like he's wanted."
