"He's been working on strengthening it," trainer Paul Lessard said. "He finally has his full range of motion back. We wanted to get it flushed out. He'll probably start throwing again this weekend. I don't want to call it a target date, but that's what we're looking at. RP Sean Marshall (shoulder) is long tossing from 120 feet.

Chapman is dealing with allergies. "Chapman looked like hell. I don't think he's available tonight," Baker said. "I don't know if (Jonathan) Broxton is available tonight. We may have to close with somebody else. He's gone two days in a row and he threw 30 pitches the day before. I was a little apprehensive about using him last night. It's not the innings sometimes, but the workload of that inning." Chapman has also worked the last two days. Fantasy Tip: Logan Ondrusek or Alfredo Simon are the likely options to fill in if a save situation arises tonight, but they shouldn't be added just for one night.

He had X-rays immediately after exiting, and they were negative. "When it hit me, it went numb," Broxton said. "In two or three minutes, it was fine. I tried to stay in there. (Manager) Dusty Baker wouldn't let me. He wanted me to get X-rays and stuff, which was the smart thing to do in case it was a fracture."
