Updating a previous report, Baltimore Orioles OF Nolan Reimold (neck) is not showing any signs of improvement after an epidural injection Friday, May 11, for his sore neck, according to manager Buck Showalter. Reimold might need a second injection, which would further delay his timetable for a return. "Every day, you are hoping he takes that next step," Showalter said. "I'd be less than forthcoming if I didn't think that the possibility of a second injection isn't a probability."

Baltimore Orioles OF Nolan Reimold (neck, shoulder) will be re-examined next week, and there are no plans to give him a second epidural injection. He's experiencing tingling in his left thumb and forearm and is also dealing with soreness in his left shoulder and arm.

Baltimore Orioles OF Nolan Reimold (back) indicated Sunday, May 13, that he does not expect to come off the 15-day disabled list when eligible Wednesday, May 16. Reimold had an epidural Friday, May 11, in an attempt to treat a bulging disc in his cervical spine, and he said it would be three to five days before the results of the procedure can be interpreted. "I'll see how it feels tomorrow and then go from there," Reimold said. Manager Buck Showalter said a decision will be made Monday, May 14, whether to send Reimold to Florida for rehab.

Baltimore Orioles OF Nolan Reimold (neck) received an epidural injection Friday, May 11, and won't go on a minor league rehab assignment early next week. He will not be ready to come off the disabled list Wednesday, May 16.

The Baltimore Orioles recalled C Luis Exposito from Triple-A Norfolk Friday, May 4, meaning OF Nolan Reimold (neck) could be headed to the disabled list. Exposito was hitting .288/.339/.423 with three RBIs in 13 games with Norfolk.
