Jim Hunsley, of nwitimes.com, reports undrafted rookie free agent DB Elliott Powell (Valparaiso) will attend Seattle Seahawks training camp. "I feel pretty confident," Powell said of his chances at the camp. Powell was expecting to have one more season of college eligibility, but he found out too late that he did not. Other teams showed interest in Powell, but Powell's agent, Chris Cates, said Seattle might be a better fit. Powell attended the minicamp the week after the NFL draft, and he received a call back. "They like my size at free safety," Powell said, "and they also think I have enough speed to play corner."
