Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports Philadelphia Eagles PK Jimmy Kibble has waited four years for a return shot to the NFL. Kibble was signed by the Chicago Bears back in 2001, but was then released because he reported to training camp a few days after finishing a 31-day stint in a work-release program. Kibble had pleaded guilty to four misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, resulting from sexual relationships he had with two 16-year-old girls while serving as a volunteer assistant at a Virginia high school. Since the June 2001 indicent, Jim Kibble, Jimmy's father, has informed teams they have dealt with about the conviction. An Eagles spokesman confirmed that the team was aware of the conviction before signing Kibble. "I was very upfront with everybody in Philadelphia," said Jim Kibble. "My hat's off to the Eagles. They realized that people make mistakes... the last 4 years, my son has led an exemplary life."
