Vic Ketchman, of Jaguars.com, reports the Jacksonville Jaguars may be interested in signing free agent DL Kenny Holmes (Packers), although a move is not anticipated in the near future. "We have looked at the list," head coach Jack Del Rio said. "We have squeezed everything we can out of that list. It's not the time of year. Defensive ends just don't fall out of the sky."

New York Giants DE Kenny Holmes (knee) was put on injured reserve, three days after undergoing arthroscopic right knee surgery to flush out loose particles. He had been experiencing soreness in the knee all season. Holmes might be ready to play in three or four weeks, but with the season dwindling down to a few games the team opted to put him on IR.
