New York Giants DE Kenny Holmes (knee) was put on injured reserve, three days after undergoing arthroscopic right knee surgery to flush out loose particles. He had been experiencing soreness in the knee all season. Holmes might be ready to play in three or four weeks, but with the season dwindling down to a few games the team opted to put him on IR.
