Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports former NFL RB Eddie George has been hired as an analyst for Fox Sports Net. He will work with Fox's Jay Glazer and former NFL FS Jason Sehorn, among others, on "Pro Football Weekly," which airs on Thursdays. George said, "It's cool and I am excited about it. I don't know the exact format, but it looks like in-studio analyst and giving my opinion on things."

Fox Sports Midwest reports the St. Louis Rams are close to re-signing DB Jason Sehorn to a one-year deal. Sehorn is currently in St. Louis, and the deal is pending a physical which is slated to take place Wednesday, Sept. 8.

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams S Jason Sehorn (foot) saw his first action this season in Sunday's, Oct. 26, game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sehorn, who hasn't played since fracturing foot on July 27, took part in about 10 plays in the nickel defense.

The Associated Press reports St. Louis Rams CB Aeneas Williams, who has been playing free safety, will move back to cornerback when FS Jason Sehorn makes his expected return for the Monday, Oct. 13, game against the Atlanta Falcons. "At this point (Jason will) be our free safety and we'll probably move Aeneas out to corner," Rams head coach Mike Martz said Monday, Sept. 29. "That's kind of what we've discussed, and we'll just see how Jason is back there."

The Associated Press reports St. Louis Rams FS Jason Sehorn (foot), out since late July with a broken left foot, is expected to start at free safety when the team returns from their bye week. Rams head coach Mike Martz said there may be a transitional phase, given that Sehorn has been out since July 27. "Jason needs to get back into playing shape, and he needs to play the defense," Martz said. "He had very little time when he got injured, and to throw him in there and expect him to do everything right is pretty hard." Sehorn has not yet been cleared for contact, but said after the Sunday, Sept. 28, game against the Arizona Cardinals that he could have played.

Updating a previous report, the Associated Press reports St. Louis Rams S Jason Sehorn (foot) has broken his left foot and is expected to be out until October, or about 10 weeks. After injuring his foot in a non-contact drill, X-rays revealed a fracture of the fifth metatarsal. Sehorn will have surgery on his foot today, July 28, and will have a screw inserted to help the healing process. Sehorn was expected to be the starter.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that St. Louis Rams FS Jason Sehorn will not be handed a job. He will compete for time with FS Kim Herring while learning a new position. "There's more mentally, and nobody knows what I can do at safety," said Sehorn, who played cornerback for nine seasons with the New York Giants. "While I think I have the athletic ability to do it, I'm not naive in thinking I can. I'm going to need a lot of coaching."
