Tue, 30 Jan 2007 23:20:34 -0800 The Houston Chronicle's Brian McTaggart reports Houston Astros general manager Tim Purpura wants to make catcher a top priority to upgrade in the future, which is why he has selected C Maxwell Sapp and C Ralph Henriquez in the past two drafts. "It's something we've identified over the last several years as a need," Purpura said. "To me, it's one of the hardest positions to fill nowadays. I don't think a lot of kids are catching like they used to. It's not a real favored position, but it's obviously critical to your success."
