Updating a previous report, Cleveland Indians OF Michael Brantley (concussion) was scratched from the lineup Tuesday, June 17, against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim due to concussion-like symptoms in his pre-game routine. "He came in feeling really good and started to ramp up his daily progression and didn't feel perfect," manager Terry Francona said. "So we immediately took him out of the lineup."

Cleveland Indians OF Michael Brantley (head, neck) is out of the starting lineup Tuesday, June 17, and he's undergoing tests on his head and neck after being injured Monday, June 16. Brantley was hurt attempting to break up a double play at second base in the third inning and was removed an inning later. Brantley passed a concussion test Monday evening but was pulled Tuesday after feeling pain in pre-game workouts. Manager Terry Francona said Brantley complained of a stiff neck.
Fantasy Tip: If Brantley needs a DL stint, it would mean more playing time for Ryan Raburn. Stay tuned for the results of Brantley's tests, which should give us a better picture on when he can return to action.
