Braves | Jason Heyward has fractured jaw

Wed, 21 Aug 2013 15:47:55 -0700

Atlanta Braves OF Jason Heyward (jaw) fractured his right jaw when he was hit by a pitch Wednesday, Aug. 21, and he's likely to miss four to six weeks.

Fantasy Tip: This is a rough blow for the Braves as they push toward the postseason. If they can hang onto the NL East division lead and make the postseason, Heyward should be ready to return. Until then, Jordan Schafer will be a regular in the outfield and should be owned in most deep mixed leagues.
