The Houston Astros placed OF Justin Maxwell (ankle) on the 15-day disabled list with loose bodies in his left ankle Tuesday, June 26, and recalled INF Scott Moore from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move. Maxwell will have arthroscopic surgery to remove the loose bodies. Moore hit .318 with 10 home runs and 54 RBIs in 73 games at Oklahoma City. Also, OFs Travis Buck (Achilles') and Fernando Martinez (concussion) were activated from the DL. Buck was designated for assignment and Martinez was optioned to Oklahoma City.

Houston Astros OF Travis Buck (Achilles') was hitless in two at-bats in his first minor-league rehab game with Double-A Corpus Christi Monday, June 18. He is scheduled to play two or three more games for the Hooks before moving his rehab to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Houston Astros OF Travis Buck (Achilles') is expected to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Double-A Corpus Christi Monday, June 18. He has been sideline since May 29 due to Achilles' tendinitis. "It's just a matter of seeing how I feel after I go play," Buck said.

The Houston Astros have placed OF Travis Buck (heel) on the 15-day disabled list. In a corresponding move, OF Fernando Martinez has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City. He will start in right field against the Cincinnati Reds Saturday, June 2.
