|Orioles | Baltimore involved with Justin Upton|
Tue, 28 Jul 2015 17:34:16 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Upton ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) would benefit from a move to Orioles Park at Camden Yards, as it allows 0.142 more runs per game than Petco Park in San Diego.

|Orioles | Baltimore discussing Justin Upton|
Mon, 27 Jul 2015 13:26:00 -0700
San Diego Padres OF Justin Upton has been discussed in trade talks with the Baltimore Orioles, according to sources. A potential deal could be expanded to include SPs Andrew Cashner and/or Tyson Ross, too.
Fantasy Tip: Upton ($6,000, 12.0% of cap), strangely enough, has hit better at Petco Park (.297/.354/.558 with 13 home runs) than on the road (.208/.308/.306 with three homers) this year. However, a move to hitter-friendly Camden Yards would do nothing to hurt his fantasy value moving forward. Save your FAAB money if you're in an AL-only league, as many impact players are likely to come over from the National League at the trade deadline.

|Padres | Justin Upton ends drought|
Sun, 26 Jul 2015 16:39:09 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It has been a rough month of July for Upton ($6,000, 12.0% of cap), and he is hitting just .154 with four RBI. He still has plenty of upside thanks to his combination of power and speed, but he is struggling too much right now to justify his price tag at FantasyScore.

|Mets | Justin Upton too expensive for Mets?|
Sun, 26 Jul 2015 07:04:12 -0700
San Diego Padres OF Justin Upton has been a trade target for the New York Mets, but they are not willing to give up what the Padres are asking for in return. The Padres are asking for at least one top prospect and are not willing to pay any of his remaining salary. It is not known if the Mets will continue trade talks with San Diego.
Fantasy Tip: Upton ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) has a good chance to be traded this offseason, but the Mets may look at another option. Upton is hitting only .122 this month, so owners on FantasyScore may want to look for better options for the time being.

|Padres | Justin Upton returns to the lineup|
Fri, 24 Jul 2015 14:59:05 -0700
Fantasy Tip: While you can slide Upton ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) back into your seasonal league lineups, he likely isn't the best FantasyScore option Friday. It is a so-so matchup against Haren ($5,700, 11.4% of cap), and Marlins Park is spacious. Plus, Upton will need a top-tier showing to return a profit on his cap hit.

Fri, 24 Jul 2015 07:11:13 -0700
Fantasy Tip: J-Up ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) has an OK matchup against Dan Haren, but he's a risky OF1 on FantasyScore.

|Padres | Still no Justin Upton|
Thu, 23 Jul 2015 15:41:30 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Almonte went 2-for-4 Wednesday, in his first start since May 30. Even as Upton's absence drags on, Almonte shouldn't be considered for fantasy purposes.

|Padres | Justin Upton out again Wednesday|
Wed, 22 Jul 2015 10:37:21 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Almonte had a 43 at-bat cup of coffee earlier this season and hit just .186. Give him a game or two to show what he can do before considering him on FantasyScore.
