Updating a previous report, Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports the Chicago Bears signed WR Rashied Davis to a three-year deal, with a base value of $3.87 million. Escalators can make the contract worth a maximum of $5.87 million. The contract includes a $1.1 million signing bonus, a $50,000 workout bonus and a $520,000 base pay rate in 2008. In 2009, it includes a $400,000 roster bonus, a $50,000 workout bonus and a $765,000 base pay rate. In 2010, it includes a $50,000 workout bonus and a $935,000 base pay rate. The cap figure each year will be $936,667 in 2008, 1.18 million in 2009 and 1.35 million in 2010.
