Cardinals | Zauner named special teams coach

The Arizona Cardinals have announced the team has hired Gary Zauner as the team's special teams coordinator. Zauner has spent the last four seasons as the Baltimore Ravens' special teams coordinator.

Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports former Baltimore Ravens special teams coach Gary Zauner is expected to serve as the Arizona Cardinals' special team coach in 2006. He worked under Cardinals head coach Dennis Green for most of Green's time with the Minnesota Vikings.

Ravens | Zauner Not Going to Atlanta

Adam H. Beasley, of BaltimoreRavens.com, reports Baltimore Ravens special teams coordinator Gary Zauner has come down with a staph infection and will not make the trip to Atlanta for the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 13. Assistant Bennie Thompson will run the special teams.
