Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said Monday, Dec. 26, that he hasn't entertained the idea of letting QB Jake Delhomme come on and play some snaps later in the game. "I haven't," Kubiak said. "I'm just going to prepare for this week just like we have every other game and we'll go from there."

The Houston Texans will sign free-agent QB Jeff Garcia (UFL) to back up QB T.J. Yates. In a corresponding move, the team waived QB Kellen Clemens. QB Jake Delhomme will be the No. 2 quarterback and Garcia is expected to be the third-stringer.
