The Jaguars reached a verbal agreement with free agent backup OT Daryl Terrell (Saints) and appeared to be close to a deal with free agent backup C Kevin Long (Titans). The deal with Terrell will be oficially a two-year, $2 million deal, although it's more like a one-year deal with a $25,000 signing bonus and a $450,000 base salary.

Roaf remains doubtful and if he can't play he will be replaced in the lineup by Daryl Terrell. Terrell has started one game in two-plus seasons and that was at tight end in 1999. Clemons is listed as questionable.

Backup QB Jake Delhomme, LB Phil Clarke, TEs Lamont Hall and Dave Stachelski, OT Daryl Terrell, DE Willie Whitehead and WR Robert Wilson were given tenders. Stachelski was tendered at $298,000, while all the others were given $389,000 offers. OT Marcus Price, a restricted free agent, was not tendered a contract and thus he is now an unrestricted free agent.
