Ryan O'Halloran, of the Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs met with LB LaVar Arrington Monday morning, Oct. 3 and Gibbs said that Arrington is 100 percent healthy, but "he's not a starter right now." Linebacker Warrick Holdman has been starting in Arrington's spot and LB Charlie Clemons replaced Arrington in passing situations during Week 4. Furthormore, Arrington denied a FOX report that that he was asked and refused to play special teams. Arrington noted he is surprised by his lack of playing time.

The Houston Chronicle reports the Houston Texans have placed LB Charlie Clemons on injured reserve with an ankle injury. Texans LB Steve Foley (shoulder), who played for the first time in three weeks Sunday, Dec. 7, after nursing a shoulder strain, will replace Clemons as the team's starting right outside linebacker.

The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Texans LB Steve Foley (shoulder) suffered a sprained shoulder during practice Wednesday, Nov. 19, after OL Todd Washington threw him hard on the ground during a pass-rush drill. It is unclear if Foley will miss any playing time. He is currently the backup at right outside linebacker to LB Charlie Clemons with LB Antwan Peek (toe) out with a dislocated toe.

The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Texans LB Steve Foley could split plays with LB Charlie Clemons (ankle) for the Sunday, Nov. 16, game against the Buffalo Bills, according to head coach Dom Capers.

The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Texans LB Charlie Clemons (ankle) picked up the pace Thursday, Nov. 13, and had his most extensive workout since suffering a sprained left ankle nearly a month ago. Head coach Dom Capers said Clemons will go through workouts Friday, Nov. 14, before a final determination is made on his availability. The current plan is for Clemons to be active for the Sunday, Nov. 16, game against the Buffalo Bills. Whether he starts will depend on how much the Texans think his ankle can handle. Capers said he could envision Clemons splitting plays with six-year veteran LB Steve Foley.

Houston Texans LB Charlie Clemons (ankle) went through a light practice Wednesday, Nov. 12, for the first time in a month. The Texans are not ruling him out for the Sunday, Nov. 16, game against the Buffalo Bills. Clemons, who has been sidelined with a sprained left ankle, will go through another workout Thursday, Nov. 13, and a decision will be made on Friday, Nov. 14. Clemons said it has been frustrating to watch but did not want to rush back and further delay his comeback.
