Paul Sheehy, of Pro Star, has confirmed to KFFL that the Baltimore Ravens will work out free agent LB Phil Clarke (Saints) on Wednesday.

Jeff Duncan, of the Times-Picayune, reports the New Orleans Saints will not offer tender offers to LB Phil Clarke, WR Wane McGarity and WR Robert Wilson. They'll all become unrestricted free agents.

NewOrleansSaints.com reports New Orleans Saints MLB Phil Clarke (knee) has a torn ligament in his right knee, as MRI results confirmed. Clarke was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday and the team signed LB DeShone Myles.

Updating an earlier story, the Associated Press reports New Orleans Saints DT Norman Hand injured his foot last night and he is questionable to doubtful for this weekend. CB Michael Hawthorne has an ankle injury and is doubtful. LB Phil Clarke injured a ligament in his right knee. He had an MRI on Tuesday, but the results were not known at this time.

Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports for the Sporting News, that New Orleans Saints LB Phil Clarke (sprained right ACL) was injured in the first quarter and did not return to action. His status is unknown for the Tampa Bay game. LB Darrin Smith (stinger) injured his neck in the second quarter but played the rest of the game without incident. CB Michael Hawthrone (sprained right foot) was injured early in the second half and did not return in the game. X-rays were negative and he is expected to be listed as day-to-day.

As an update to earlier reports, the Times Picayune reports New Orleans Saints OL Wally Williams suffered both a pulled left hamstring and a sprained left ankle on Sunday. The team hopes he'll be able to practice on Wednesday. LB Phil Clarke (concussion) and S Jay Bellamy (small fracture right elbow) were also injured on Sunday. Clarke is expected to be fine while the team is unsure of Bellamy's status right now.

Jeff Duncan reports for the Times-Picayune New Orleans Saints starting LT Willie Roaf missed Wednesday's workout, but coach Jim Haslett said Roaf was just resting a bruised left knee. "Willie's fine," Haslett said. "He's going to play." LB DeShone Myles has been upgraded from out to doubtful in his return from arthroscopic surgery to his left knee. G Chris Naeole (knee) and LB Phil Clarke (neck stinger) are probable.

The Sun Herald reports in addition to the previously reported strained left triceps suffered by New Orleans Saints DE Joe Johnson the team suffered two other injuries. Backup MLB Phil Clarke received a stinger to his left shoulder while covering a kickoff in the first quarter. He had X-rays which came back negative so he returned to the game. CB Fred Thomas took a blow to the ribs in the third quarter but returned.

The Sun Herald reports the New Orleans Saints released rookie RB James Fenderson to make room for re-signed LB Phil Clarke. Fenderson could wind up on the practice sqaud Friday after he clears waivers.

The Advocate reports the New Orleans Saints re-signed LB Phil Clarke to their 53-man roster on Thursday. They will have to cut a player to free a roster spot for him.
