Denver Broncos OL Matt McChesney (ankle) has announced his retirement from professional football after injuring his ankle this offseason, reports The Associated Press. McChesney injured the same ankle he had surgery on last season.

Denver Broncos OT Matt McChesney (ankle) is expected to retire after a golf cart hit his ankle and caused a severe injury, reports Mike Klis, of The Denver Post. McChesney had surgery on the same ankle last preseason. The Broncos said they would like McChesney to try to rehab the injury so he compete for spot on the roster.
