Bob Cooney, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports Philadelphia Eagles DL Darren Howard is at 255 pounds, which is 15 pounds lighter than he was last year. DL Trent Cole said Howard is opening eyes. "Everybody is going to size each other up," Cole said. "Everyone checks out who was lifting and who wasn't lifting at all [during the offseason]. So far, he is the eye-opener." Howard said he had a disappointing season last year and wanted to work hard in the offseason to build muscle on his frame.
