Tennessee Titans WR Nate Washington is in the best shape of his life, according to wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson. "He's a stud. Man, he's a pro. He's leading the group right now and he seems to be in the best shape of his life. He has been making plays out here from Day One. Right now, he's in midseason form. And the group goes as he goes."

Tennessee Titans WR Nate Washington is in the best shape of his life, according to receivers coach Shawn Jefferson. Jefferson added that Washington has become a leader in the locker room and is in midseason form.
Fantasy Tip: Itís best to take Jeffersonís praise with a grain of salt at this point. Washington could still end up being the teamís No. 3 option behind Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter, though Washington may be the teamís best deep threat. Consider him no more than a low-end WR3 in standard leagues

Tennessee Titans WR Nate Washington caught eight passes for a career-high 131 yards in the team's Week 3 victory over the San Diego Chargers. "Nate just balled out - that's all you can say," WR Kendall Wright said. "He's a captain and he kept leading us, by example and vocally. When you get a vet like that who's been in the game a long time, you listen to him because he's one of the hardest-working guys out there." Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said QB Jake Locker believes in Washington.
Fantasy Tip: Washington has taken advantage of the opportunity that Kenny Britt's poor play has given him, and he's running with it. Washington should see plenty of looks from Locker now, making him a smart waiver wire pickup this week.

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt once again was lackluster in the team's Week 3 win over the San Diego Chargers and had several drops. In a key late-game third-and-long situation, Britt was benched in favor of WR Justin Hunter, who wound up making the game-winning touchdown catch. Britt was on the sideline for all of the team's 10 plays during their 94-yard game-winning drive. WR Nate Washington, who had eight catches in the game, has become the team's top wideout, with WR Kendall Wright running more of the underneath routes. Britt said he was banged up with a sore neck and bruised rib from a scary tackle in the second quarter, but offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said the receiver rotation on the final drive was a coaching decision. Britt was targeted five times in the game and didn't have a single catch, including two drops. "Kenny's still a physical specimen. He's going to be part of this offense," Loggains said. "We just have to clean that stuff up. We can't have dropped balls from anyone. We can't have penalties. We can be a good football team if we clean that stuff up. We're not going to be good if we're stupid."
Fantasy Tip: Britt put himself further into the doghouse in this game. If you own him, you might not be able to get away with dropping him yet, but he should be banished to your bench in Week 4. Washington and Wright are gaining steam for waiver wire acquisitions.

Tennessee Titans WR Nate Washington had eight receptions for a game-high 131 yards in the Week 3 game against the San Diego Chargers. Washington was also targeted 10 times.
Fantasy Tip: Washington looks to have emerged as the top target for QB Jake Locker, who mostly ignored fellow WR Kenny Britt. Even so, Washington should only be considered as WR3/4 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams going forward.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (concussion) did not practice again Thursday, Sept. 19, but he doesn't think he has a concussion. Wright will visit with a doctor before practice Friday, Sept. 20, and the team expects him to be cleared to practice and play in Week 3 against the San Diego Chargers. WR Damian Williams will serve as the No. 3 receiver and WR Justin Hunter will be the fourth if Wright can't play.
Fantasy Tip: Wright should be a solid play against a weak Chargers secondary if he can suit up. If not, Kenny Britt and Nate Washington receive a boost in value for the week.
