He acknowledged SS Barry Church is a fit in new defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin's system, but was less than excited about SS Gerald Sensabaugh. "I'd say they're more in hunt of two safeties than any other position," Lacewell said of the team's needs.

Dallas Cowboys SS Gerald Sensabaugh (knee), who had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee recently, could miss the start of training camp, according to sources. Sensabaugh missed several organized team activity workouts and the June minicamp. Sensabaugh will be able to report for rehab only July 25 when rookies, first-year players and quarterbacks practice. The hope is Sensabaugh can take part in the first full-squad practice July 30, but the team will be cautious.
