Collins hasn't received all the medical advice he needs to make a decision about whether to continue playing football following the single-fusion surgery on his neck last September. "All the opinions aren't in, and I think he's getting another opinion," Herman said. "That doctor was not available. He was on vacation, so I'm hopeful soon. But I think he's got another meeting with one of the doctors."

Even if Collins is cleared to resume playing, the Packers likely will want their doctor to examine him and general manager Ted Thompson will have to decide if he wants to put him back on the field.
