Updating a previous report, Seattle Mariners 2B Robinson Cano (foot) should be able to play Saturday, Aug. 16, after leaving early Friday, Aug. 15, because of a foot injury, according to manager Lloyd McClendon. McClendon said Cano was taken out as a precaution.

Fantasy Tip: Owners in daily leagues should check before the game to make sure Cano is in the lineup before they use him.

Seattle Mariners 2B Robinson Cano (foot) left the game early Friday, Aug. 15, because of an apparent foot injury. Cano fouled a ball off his foot during an at-bat and was limping in the dugout.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should monitor the situation, because the team probably will give an update on his condition in the next day or so.

Seattle Mariners 2B Robinson Cano had two singles with a run scored and a walk in three at-bats Friday, Aug. 1, against the Baltimore Orioles. Cano is a lifetime .363 hitter (115-for-317) in Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Fantasy Tip: Cano's hitting prowess in Baltimore will really be put to the test tomorrow, as he is just 2-for-21 (.095) lifetime against Orioles SP Miguel Gonzalez, the probable starter Saturday. Daily fantasy owners will certainly want to keep those numbers in mind.

Fantasy Tip: Keep in mind that Cano played in the All-Star Game and then played 28 combined innings in the first two games following the break, so he hasn't had much time to rest. Fortunately, this injury doesn't sound too serious.
