Boston Red Sox OF Jason Repko (knee, shoulder) had his knee and shoulder examined by the team's medical staff Sunday, May 13. Manager Bobby Valentine said his shoulder feels good and his knee is almost at the point where he'll be able to resume playing.

The Boston Red Sox have recalled OF Jason Repko and INF/OF Nate Spears from Triple-A Pawtucket. In corresponding moves, RP Michael Bowden has been designated for assignment and OF Che-Hsuan Lin was optioned to Pawtucket. In addition, Pawtucket C Luis Exposito was designated for assignment to clear space on the 40-man roster.

Boston Red Sox OF Jason Repko (concussion) was scratched Thursday, March 1, from a 'B' game due to a mild concussion. The non-roster invitee said he had not taken the mandatory screening test MLB mandates when a player sustains a concussion.
