MLB.com's Dick Kaegel reports the Kansas City Royals have re-signed free agent C Matt Tupman (Royals) to a minor league deal with an invitation to attend major league spring training camp. Financial terms were not disclosed. The 29-year-old hit .229 last season for Triple-A Omaha.

Dick Kaegel, of MLB.com, reports the Kansas City Royals are interested in re-signing free-agent C Matt Tupman (Royals), according to assistant general manager J.J. Picollo. Tupman said that he will most likely re-sign with the team. He recently returned to the United States after playing winter ball in the Dominican Republic, to undergo surgery on his right shoulder.
