Patriots | Tom Brady will remain starter

Wed, 27 Jul 2016 09:08:12 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady will return as the starting quarterback when he returns, according to head coach Bill Belichick.

Fantasy Tip: It's laughable to suggest otherwise, so there's no surprise here. Brady slips a few spots due to his four-game suspension, but he sits at the bottom of the midrange QB1 area in fantasy. Jimmy Garoppolo is a matchup play the first month, and he's a QB2 in fantasy.

Patriots | Tom Brady can't work with teammates

Sun, 24 Jul 2016 07:23:13 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady will be prohibited from engaging in any football-related activities or discussions during the course of his four-game suspension, even if he is away from the team facility, according to NFL vice president of communications Brian McCarthy. The ban also prohibits Brady from attending games and practices as a spectator and receiving game and practice film from club personnel.

Fantasy Tip: Brady is still expected to see a good deal of repetitions with the first-team offense during training camp before his suspension goes into effect Sept. 3, and he won't rejoin the Patriots until Oct. 3, prior to the team's Week 5 game against the Cleveland Browns. The 38-year-old is still capable of putting up solid numbers and should be viewed as a midrange option at the position, although he could remain on the draft board later than normal due to the suspension.

Patriots | First-team reps for Tom Brady

Sun, 17 Jul 2016 12:23:32 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady should still receive a good amount of first-team repetitions during training camp despite his four-game suspension. QB Jimmy Garoppolo could then take the majority of first-team reps once preseason ramps up, according to ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss.

Fantasy Tip: Brady will miss a quarter of the regular season due to the suspension, but he's still Tom Brady, and he can still put up gaudy numbers for the remaining 12 games. One might be able to steal him later than usual in fantasy drafts.

Patriots | Tom Brady ends appeal

Fri, 15 Jul 2016 10:06:03 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady announced he will have no further action with the legal process against the NFL in appealing his four-game suspension.

Fantasy Tip: So that's it, DeflateGate has ended. Jimmy Garoppolo will start the first four games of the season, and Brady will be eligible for Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns. Garoppolo will face the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills, which all feature capable defenses. He's nothing more than an injury replacement as a QB2 in fantasy. Brady falls to the bottom of the midrange at the position.

Patriots | Appeals court rejects Tom Brady

Wed, 13 Jul 2016 06:54:01 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady had his request for a new hearing on his four-game suspension rejected by a federal appeals court Wednesday, July 13. Brady was asking for the full 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to hear the case. Brady's remaining hope is to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Fantasy Tip: There seems to be pessimism looming on Brady's status for the first four games. There is a chance that he could use measures to extend the ordeal to the 2017 season. If Brady misses the first four games, he'll slide down a couple of notches in the fantasy pecking order, but he'd still remain in the midrange of the position. Jimmy Garoppolo would be an injury-replacement option the first four weeks if the suspension stands.

Patriots | Tom Brady looking like himself

Mon, 13 Jun 2016 14:42:13 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has looked great this offseason, according to TE Rob Gronkowski. He looks the same every day that I've been here. He's always coming out with a competitive edge," Gronkowski said. "His arm always looks strong. His football knowledge, you don't have to talk about it, it's second to none. He looks very sharp."

Fantasy Tip: Brady will likely give way to Jimmy Garoppolo for the first four games of the season, but he's still not a bad low-end QB1 to high-end QB2 option for the season as a whole.

Patriots | Jimmy Garoppolo works with starters

Sat, 11 Jun 2016 17:15:50 -0700

New England Patriots QB Jimmy Garoppolo split first-team reps QB Tom Brady during a three-day minicamp, and WR Nate Washington said that Garoppolo understands the offense.

Fantasy Tip: Garoppolo could be forced into action with Brady facing a four-game suspension. His long-term value is limited, but he could be a potential DFS sleeper if Brady does miss games.

Patriots | Tom Brady working with Martellus Bennett

Tue, 07 Jun 2016 11:17:45 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady was working one-on-one with TE Martellus Bennett in the red zone during practice Tuesday, June 7.

Fantasy Tip: The Patriots likely will use Bennett and Rob Gronkowski at the same time in 2016, which makes Bennett a valuable fantasy option. He should be considered a No. 2 tight end for most owners, but he could be a low-end No. 1 or a flex option against favorable matchups.

Patriots | Tom Brady won't reach settlement

Mon, 06 Jun 2016 07:39:47 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has had no settlement talks about his four-game suspension, and commissioner Roger Goodell said the courts will make their decision.

Fantasy Tip: Brady found a way out of this last season, and it's possible that he could do it again. If he's forced to miss the first four weeks, he's still a potent enough weapon to remain at the bottom of the midrange of the position.

Patriots | Patriots QBs splitting reps

Fri, 27 May 2016 11:28:02 -0700

New England Patriots QBs Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo split first-team repetitions at practice Thursday, May 26. Last year, Brady dominated the top-tier work.

Fantasy Tip: This is a strong signal that the team is indeed bracing for Brady's four-game suspension. That's bad news for everyone all around from a fantasy perspective, at least as far as the first quarter of the season is concerned, but that doesn't mean Garoppolo can't come through. After all, he was able to shine when he got some playing time early on in the 2014 season. Brady is still worth a high pick despite the suspension, as he should return elite value as always.

Patriots | Martellus Bennett, Tom Brady connecting

Thu, 26 May 2016 15:44:03 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and TE Martellus Bennett connected several times in the red zone, including some touchdowns, during organized team activities Thursday, May 26. Bennett was New England's primary tight end in practice with TE Rob Gronkowski (undisclosed) not practicing.

Fantasy Tip: As long as Gronk is healthy, Bennett will play second fiddle. Bennett could prove to be a viable red-zone threat, though, and is still worth drafting as a TE2 in his new confines.

Patriots | Tom Brady to file appeal

Mon, 23 May 2016 05:16:12 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady's legal team will officially file its appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit Monday, May 23, which is the deadline to do so. "The facts here are so drastic and so apparent that the court should rehear it," attorney Ted Olson said.

Fantasy Tip: Brady had his four-game suspension reinstated in the offseason, but he was able to wiggle free the first time. If you're drafting early, he's still worth taking as an upper-middle quarterback. You'll just have to burn a higher pick than normal on a backup in the low-end QB1 range.

Patriots | Tom Brady has more time to appeal

Tue, 03 May 2016 13:52:16 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady's deadline to appeal his four-game suspension has been extended to May 23, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: For now the odds seem to be against Brady winning an appeal. Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to start the first four games of the 2016 season while Brady serves his pending suspension. Even with Brady likely out four games, he's still worth drafting as a low-end QB1.

Patriots | Tom Brady talks with NFL unlikely

Wed, 27 Apr 2016 16:54:37 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and the NFL are not expected to talk anymore regarding a settlement, according to a source. The league doesn't believe the NFL Players' Association or any of Brady's representatives have provided a reason to renew settlement talks. Brady's suspension was recently upheld by a federal appeals court and he is expected to miss the first four games of the regular season.

Fantasy Tip: Jimmy Garoppolo will stand in for Brady for the start of the season. Brady shouldn't immediately be viewed as outside of starting fantasy quarterback territory, either. He can still put up QB1 numbers in 12 games.

Patriots | Tom Brady not accepting ruling

Mon, 25 Apr 2016 13:37:41 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady will not yet accept the court ruling of his four-game suspension, according to sources. He is mulling options with his legal team.

Fantasy Tip: This shouldn't be a big surprise, as Brady didn't go down without a fight before with Deflategate. For now we can anticipate that Brady will miss the first four games of the season, though. Even if he does miss that time, he's still worth drafting as a low-end QB1.

Patriots | Tom Brady's appeal chances not good

Mon, 25 Apr 2016 10:43:18 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady's chances of winning an appeal after his four-game suspension was reinstated are not good, according to director of Tulane Sports Law Program Gabe Feldman. "But Tom Brady's next step is to make an en banc appeal to ask the entire second circuit to hear that -- those are very rarely granted. And even more rare is the Supreme Court to hear this case. So Tom Brady is almost out of chances. I think any chance he has left is very slim," Feldman said.

Fantasy Tip: Brady's fantasy value takes a significant hit leading into the 2016 season. He's more likely a midrange QB1 now with a second successful appeal unlikely. Jimmy Garoppolo will now likely start the first four games against the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills. None of those four matchups have much appeal to use Garoppolo as a sleeper QB in daily formats.

Patriots | Tom Brady's suspension restored

Mon, 25 Apr 2016 08:54:58 -0700

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady had his four-game suspension from last season reinstated by a U.S. Appeals court Monday, April 25.

Fantasy Tip: Here we go again. If this holds, Brady's fantasy value will dwarf into the tail end of the midrange QB1 area. This doesn't mean he'll miss the first four weeks yet as he found a way out of it last season. So continue to monitor the story. Jimmy Garoppolo would likely start the first four weeks, but he would only be a desperation fantasy play if your starter suffered an injury.

Patriots | Tom Brady has team-friendly deal

Thu, 10 Mar 2016 05:47:52 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady's two-year extension includes $41 million in new money. His salary cap figures are $14 million in 2016 and 2017, and $22 million in 2018 and 2019.

Fantasy Tip: Brady is advancing in age, but his play hasn't shown much of it. He would benefit from another dependable receiver, but Brady is a QB to target after the top two or three are gone in fantasy drafts.

Mon, 29 Feb 2016 07:11:37 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady agreed to a two-year extension through the 2019 season Monday, Feb. 29, according to sources. The deal has Brady signed through age 42.

Fantasy Tip: Brady remains an upper-level fantasy quarterback just under the elite tier.

Patriots | Tom Brady pressured in loss

Sun, 24 Jan 2016 16:44:46 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady was hit a season-high 23 times in a 20-18 loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24. Entering the game, Brady hadn't been hit more than 12 times.

Fantasy Tip: Brady tossed a pair of interceptions, but he also managed to throw for 310 yards in the final game of another strong season. Expect Brady to deliver QB1 production once again in 2016.

Patriots | Tom Brady tops 300 yards

Sun, 24 Jan 2016 16:12:36 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 27 of his 56 pass attempts for 310 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in a 20-18 loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Brady was pressured all game and was sacked four times. He still managed a decent final line against a stout Denver defense, and he continues to prove he is a reliable QB1 regardless of his supporting cast.

Patriots | Tom Brady struggled against four-man rush

Fri, 22 Jan 2016 15:07:26 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady had a QBR of 4.1 when he was pressured by a four-man or fewer pass rush in 2015, which ranked 28th among 35 qualifying passers. Nineteen% of Brady's dropbacks this year ended with him being pressured without a blitz this year, which was the ninth-highest percentage in football. However, Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips loves to bring extra rushers.

The Broncos sent five or more men after the quarterback 41.7% of the time this year, the fourth-highest rate in the league. The Broncos were successful creating pressure without blitzing, too, as they allowed an opponent's QBR of just 8.7 in those situations this year. They also created pressure in those situations 19.2% of opposing team dropbacks, which ranked sixth in the league.

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos must get a pass rush on Brady ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) in order to have a shot to win, and even then it might be tough. When you consider that Brady had three scores and almost 300 yards in Week 12 against this same great defense without most of his offensive weapons, you have to consider him a great FantasyScore pick this time around.

Patriots | Tom Brady, Brandon LaFell probable

Fri, 22 Jan 2016 12:55:25 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) and WR Brandon LaFell (foot) both practiced in full all week and are probable for the AFC Championship against the Denver Broncos Sunday, Jan. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) looks like a real nice pick this weekend, even against a strong Broncos defense. He had three touchdowns and almost 300 yards against them in Week 12 while missing Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman. LaFell ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) will be overlooked for a reason; he struggles to do much in the offense when Amendola and Edelman are healthy.

Patriots | Tom Brady, Brandon LaFell practice

Thu, 21 Jan 2016 14:29:14 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) and WR Brandon LaFell (foot) both practiced in full for the second straight day Thursday, Jan. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Seeing as Brady ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) came close to 300 yards and three touchdowns against the Denver Broncos in Week 12 without most of his offensive firepower, he's a solid daily pick this weekend. LaFell ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) was overshadowed last week with Julian Edelman returning, and LaFell is more of a deep sleeper.

Patriots | Tom Brady has quick release

Thu, 21 Jan 2016 11:17:54 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady averaged 2.8 seconds from snap to throw during the regular season.

Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) is extremely dangerous and attractive to FantasyScore users with all his offensive weapons healthy, even against a Denver Broncos defense that ranked first against the pass this year. Brady managed three touchdowns and 280 yards passing in Week 12 at Denver.

Patriots | Tom Brady, Brandon LaFell practice

Wed, 20 Jan 2016 14:55:48 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) and WR Brandon LaFell (foot) both practiced in full Wednesday, Jan. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) put up 280 yards and three touchdowns with limited weapons against the Denver Broncos earlier this year, so one has to figure he'll be solid yet again with a healthy receiving corps. LaFell ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) had just three catches for six yards last week and will take a back seat with Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman healthy now.

Patriots | Tom Brady faces tough matchup

Tue, 19 Jan 2016 20:06:06 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady will square off against the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24. The Broncos led the NFL in passing defense in the regular season, allowing just 199.6 yards per game, and they were tied for the least amount of pass plays of 40 or more yards allowed (five).

Fantasy Tip: Despite the tough matchup Brady ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) is still a top FantasyScore option with just four selections at the quarterback position, and TE Rob Gronkowski ($8,000) healthy and at his disposal. Look for the combination to hook up for at least one touchdown in a potentially low-scoring game.

Patriots | Tom Brady hasn't had success in Denver

Tue, 19 Jan 2016 09:51:48 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady is 2-6 in his career in games played in Denver against the Broncos. "It's a great football environment. They've had some good teams when we've played out there," Brady said. "I didn't realize we were 2-6, but the crowd gets into it. … We've had a lot of close games there. I think it always comes down to something at the end."

Fantasy Tip: Brady hasn't had much team success in Denver, but he did throw for 280 yards and three touchdowns against the Broncos earlier this year without most of his offensive playmakers. That bodes well for his chances of finding success in the AFC Championship this weekend.

Patriots | Tom Brady great in middle of field

Tue, 19 Jan 2016 09:18:58 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has 2,930 passing yards between the numbers in the middle of the field this year, which was the second most in the league. However, the Denver Broncos held Brady to his lowest completion percentage (48.0%) between the numbers in the last four seasons, including the playoffs.

Fantasy Tip: Brady had 280 yards and three touchdowns in his matchup with the Broncos in an overtime loss earlier this year, but he also was without both Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, and Rob Gronkowski was lost to injury during the game. Despite facing the top defense against the pass, Brady should be able to put up respectable numbers on the road with all of his weapons in tow.

Patriots | Three scores for Tom Brady

Sat, 16 Jan 2016 17:27:33 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 28 of 42 passes for 302 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score in a 27-20 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the playoffs Saturday, Jan. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Brady dissected a Kansas City defense that had been one of the best in the league over the second half of the season. Regardless of his opponent in the conference title game, Brady will be worth starting at FantasyScore.

Patriots | Tom Brady should play Saturday

Fri, 15 Jan 2016 13:49:16 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 15, and is listed as probable for the divisional round playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs Saturday, Jan. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) will be able to play but will be facing a tough Chiefs defense. Brady has been successful in the playoff during his career and should be a solid starting option for owners on FantasyScore.

Patriots | Tom Brady, Brandon LaFell practice fully

Thu, 14 Jan 2016 13:59:14 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) and WR Brandon LaFell (foot) both were full participants in practice Thursday, Jan. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) has been a full participant the last two days now, so he should be good to go versus the Kansas City Chiefs. LaFell ($5,800, 11.6%) should be able to play, too, but his value decreases with the assumption that Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski are all active.

Patriots | Tom Brady struggled down the stretch

Wed, 13 Jan 2016 17:08:01 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady had just 242 passing yards per game, 11 touchdowns, three interceptions and a passer rating of 92.2 in the team's last six games of the regular season, in which they went 2-4.

Fantasy Tip: The Patriots lost key contributors on offense in Dion Lewis and Julian Edelman in that stretch, so you have to give Brady ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) a pass there. The offensive line has struggled to protect him, too. New England will have Edelman back this weekend, but against a fierce Kansas City Chiefs pass rush, you have to be a little concerned.

Patriots | Tom Brady, Brandon LaFell practice

Wed, 13 Jan 2016 15:07:42 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) and WR Brandon LaFell (foot) both were full participants in practice Wednesday, Jan. 13.

Fantasy Tip: Brady's ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) injury is concerning, but it shouldn't slow him down enough to be worried. What you should be worried about is the Kansas City Chiefs fearsome pass rush. It's not an ideal matchup for Brady and that weak offensive line. LaFell ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) is a midrange receiving option this weekend, but with Julian Edelman back, LaFell's ceiling is lowered.

Mon, 11 Jan 2016 11:22:29 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) did not seem repressed by his ankle when dropping back in team drills Monday, Jan. 11.

Fantasy Tip: Brady should be good to go for this weekend's faceoff with the Kansas City Chiefs. He should also have most of his arsenal back thanks in large part to the expected return of Julian Edelman. The Kansas City Chiefs wreaked havoc on Brian Hoyer last week, but Brady is not Hoyer, and he is still worth starting.

Wed, 06 Jan 2016 10:27:36 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) was present during a walkthrough practice Wednesday, Jan. 6. However, it was more mental work than physical.

Fantasy Tip: Brady is feeling better Wednesday and will be available to play in the divisional round. How effective he will be is a different story. The good news is he's expected to have Julian Edelman back, which should make the Patriots offense click yet again.

Patriots | Tom Brady feeling better

Wed, 06 Jan 2016 09:18:59 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) said his sprained right ankle is making progress Wednesday, Jan. 6, and he was walking with no noticeable limp during a press conference. Brady is expected to be fine for the playoffs. "Believe me, I'll be doing everything I can to be out there. There is nothing else in my life that's a priority at this point other than getting to feel like I'm 100%," Brady said.

Fantasy Tip: Brady was beat up in the Week 17 loss to the Miami Dolphins and hasn't really been very useful at FantasyScore with Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola beat up. That could change in the divisional round of the playoffs when he's expected to have Edelman back.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (ankle) injured his right ankle in the second quarter against the Miami Dolphins in Week 17, but he didn't miss a play. He finished with a season-low 134 yards and failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this year.

Fantasy Tip: Brady was under pressure all afternoon and ended up having his worst game of the season. Despite the poor outing, he has to be considered one of the top options at quarterback at FantasyScore heading into the playoffs.

Patriots | Tom Brady fairly quiet in Week 16

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 14:11:36 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady went 22-for-31 for 231 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the New York Jets in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: Brady was without some of his top receivers but still posted decent numbers. Owners will need to monitor the team's playoff position because there is a chance that Brady could sit out if the team clinches the No. 1 seed in the AFC prior to Week 17. He will be a solid starting option for owners if he does play against the Miami Dolphins next week.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 23 of 35 passes for 267 yards and two touchdowns in a 33-16 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,600, 17.2% of cap) turned in another strong performance, and he should continue to play in the next couple weeks until New England clinches everything it possibly can.

Patriots | Tom Brady to face Tennessee

Sun, 20 Dec 2015 08:38:10 -0800

Confirming a previous report, New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (illness) will be active for Week 15's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Tip: Despite being listed as questionable on the injury report and missing practice Friday, Dec. 18, there was little doubt Brady ($8,600, 17.2% of cap) was going to be active for this game. He should be viewed as a must-start in all fantasy formats, especially given the Patriots' recent backfield issues.

Patriots | Tom Brady should play

Sat, 19 Dec 2015 10:06:16 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (illness) is feeling better Saturday, Dec. 19, and should be able to start in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,600, 17.2% of cap) owners can breathe a sigh of relief this weekend. He's a must-start if you're in the playoffs, and he's not a bad start on FantasyScore, either, as the Patriots are hurting in their backfield and may be forced to throw more than usual.

Patriots | Tom Brady questionable for Week 15

Fri, 18 Dec 2015 13:36:03 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (illness) is officially listed as questionable for Week 15 against the Tennessee Titans. However, his illness doesn't sound like an issue, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: You shouldn't worry here with Brady ($8,600, 17.2% of cap). Barring something catastrophic, he'll play. Even though he's missing some running backs and will likely be without Julian Edelman again, Brady is a respectable fantasy weapon this weekend against a Titans team that has been a top-10 fantasy matchup for QBs this season.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (illness) was out of practice Friday, Dec. 18, with an illness, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,600, 17.2% of cap), love him or hate him, would have to be stricken by something much more severe to not suit up against the Tennessee Titans this week. He's a QB1 in the elite tier on FantasyScore.

Patriots | Tom Brady says he's fresh

Wed, 09 Dec 2015 16:14:11 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has taken 32 hits in the last three games, but he said he feels "fresh as lettuce."

Fantasy Tip: Brady's offensive line is a juggling act, and he's struggling without his top playmakers -- Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski. Things won't get any easier Sunday night against the Houston Texans and J.J. Watt as the Pats look to end their two-game skid. Paying up for Brady ($8,600, 17.2% of cap) seems foolish, at least until he gets Gronk back.

Patriots | Tom Brady tosses three TDs

Sun, 29 Nov 2015 22:51:23 -0800

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 23 of his 42 pass attempts for 280 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 12 game against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Tip: Brady's performance was especially impressive considering he was without Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola due to injury, and he lost Rob Gronkowski in the fourth quarter but still was able to force overtime. In addition, the Broncos are one of the best pass defenses in the league, so Brady remains a solid FantasyScore option even with a bare cupboard.
