Mike Marsee, of the Advocate Messenger reports DL Bobby Leffew is hoping for a chance to land in the NFL. Currently he's playing for the Lexington Horsemen of the United Indoor Football League. He might parlay that into a contract with an Arena Football League team. Leffew was bypassed in the NFL draft this spring, though he wasn't surprised. He received a post-draft tryout with the Chicago Bears, though they didn't offer him a contract. He doesn't expect to hear from the Bears or any other team soon. "My agent has been calling NFL teams, but they're saying it'll probably be a couple of months," Leffew said. "The Bears said if somebody goes down, they'll call me."
