Klemm suffered the injury Saturday, July 29. He will be placed on the team's Injured Reserve list and he will miss the entire 2006 season.

Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers OL Adrian Klemm (Achilles') suffered an Achilles' tendon injury midway through practice Saturday, July 29, and was carted off the field. Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said he did not know the extent of the injury, but the way Klemm went down, it didn't look promising. "It depends on the degree of it, you know," McCarthy said of Klemm's injury. "He's being looked at right now." With Klemm out, former starting OG Will Whitticker probably will have to take over at backup left tackle.

Head coach Mike McCarthy said tests revealed Klemm had a sprained posterior collateral ligament. Klemm probably won't practice today, and could miss the next minicamp in two weeks.

The Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers starting LG Scott Wells is dealing with a personal matter and he may not play Sunday, Nov. 27. Wells wasn't on the practice field Friday, Nov. 25. Wells passed through the locker room and briefly elaborated on the situation. "My wife (Julie) delivered our babies yesterday, and they're both stillborn. Neither one of them survived," Wells said solemnly. "I'm trying to get through it and be there for her and worry about the rest later." Wells said he hopes he can play in the team's Week 12 game. Offensive line coach Larry Beightol said he would have no qualms starting OG Adrian Klemm again if Wells couldn't play Sunday. Our condolences go out to Wells and his wife.

"Some of it is rust, some of it I just got beat," Flanagan said. "I feel like we're talking about me getting my (expletive) kicked every play. But I definitely had a couple plays that weren't normal. I'd rather see it in the last four weeks than the next 16." Offensive line coach Larry Beightol is confident his starting center will remain productive once the regular season begins. "He hasn't hit on all cylinders yet, but I know 'Flanny' and I think he'll be at the top of his game in Detroit," Beightol said. Flanagan is also adjusting to the club's two new guards, Adrian Klemm and Will Whitticker.

Packers.com reports the Green Bay Packers have four offensive linemen fighting for their two starting guard spots. During June's organized team activities, the Packers rotated OG Grey Ruegamer and OG Matt O'Dwyer at one starting guard combination and OG Adrian Klemm and OG Atlas Herrion at another. All four players received about the same number of repetitions. "We do a rotation," Klemm said, when asked who will start next year. "It's hard to say, but I'm in a good position right now."

"(In New England) they don't tell the press anything," Klemm said. "I had major knee surgery and they thought I sprained my knee. When I broke my foot two years in a row, and this last break I had was actually a fracture, it was a rare bone break…None of that ever came out. They said, 'he injured his foot,' and so that's what kind of makes it difficult on the player's part. They see your stuff in your locker, but they never really see you because they kind of hide us from everybody. So you never really get to explain your side of the story."

"I passed my physical, I'm not limping around, I can run straight ahead, things of that nature," Klemm said. "It's just a matter of strengthening it up and going from there."
