Walker, of The Associated Press, reports Tennessee Titans rookie S/QB Marcus Randall has show a 100 percent commitment to learning the safety position after making the switch from playing quarterback at LSU. ''He's dedicated to this," head coach Jeff Fisher said. "What we wanted to do when we first talked to him, we said, 'Marcus, there's some opportunity here. We're going to give (you) an opportunity and based on how you do and the numbers, based on athletic ability, we potentially could move you.' And we did.''

TitansOnline.com reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher says the coaching staff now as a better feel for the abilities of the team's rookie quarterbacks following the conclusion of organized team activities Thursday, June 23. "We have a better feel of what they're able to do," Fisher said. "I think once the pads go on and we give them some more opportunities at camp we will be able to separate them even more." The Titans' rookie quarterbacks are QBs Shane Boyd, Gino Guidugli, Jason White and CB/QB Marcus Randall.

Updating previous reports, Titansonline.com reports the Tennessee Titans have indeed moved QB Marcus Randall to the secondary. When asked if the move was permanent head coach Jeff Fisher replied, "Nothing's permanent, but we're going to give him a chance the rest of the week and then we're going to put him on a program up to the time leading into training camp to get him ready to play in the secondary."

Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans signed undrafted rookie free agent QB Marcus Randall to compete at quarterback this year, but Randall could shift to another position because of his athletic ability. ''When I first came in, quarterback is where they wanted me to be,'' Randall said. ''But I've tried to put myself in a position where I'm ready for whatever a team might need me to be, whether it is running back or safety or quarterback.'' Leading up to the draft this year, Randall worked out for NFL scouts as a quarterback and defensive back.

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports LSU QB Marcus Randall (6-1 5/8, 229) ran a 4.59 and 4.60 40-yard dash, had a 36-inch vertical, 9-foot-3 long jump, 4.21 short shuttle, 6.92 three-cone drill and did 14 reps in bench press drills. Despite playing quarterback and being the MVP of the Tigers' bowl game, he is not being looked at as a quarterback at the next level.
