Kevin Lynch, of the San Francisco Chronicle, reports San Francisco 49ers running backs coach Bishop Harris is expected to return to the team Monday, July 31, after dealing with a minor medical problem. Offensive assistant Pep Hamilton has been filling in for Harris.

San Francisco 49ers FB Fred Beasley has been benched in favor of FB Chris Hetherington for Week 15 and Beasley cites his relationship with his position coach Bishop Harris as the reason for his demotion. "I've been the starter here the last seven years," Beasley said. "I don't think it's a question of if I can play this game. It's a question, did I play the game the way they wanted me to play it? It's a frustrating year for everybody. I think I can be honest and say, the relationship between me and Bishop had a lot to do with my play."
