NCAA | Kirksey hired at Middle Tennessee State University

The Tennessean reports former NFL assistant coach Larry Kirksey has been hired as running backs coach at Middle Tennessee State University. During his time as an NFL assistant (1994-2004) Kirksey coached players such as WRs Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Jimmy Smith, J.J. Stokes and Ed McCaffrey. He was receivers coach at San Francisco (1994-1999), Detroit (2001-2002), Jacksonville (2003) and Denver (2004).

Vikings | To Interview Kirksey for WR Coaching Job

Don Seeholzer, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, reports the Minnesota Vikings are scheduled to interview former Detroit Lions assistant coach Larry Kirksey later this week about becoming their wide receivers coach.
