The Detroit News reports Detroit Tigers P Macay McBride (elbow) is impressing Leyland 10 months after he underwent Tommy John surgery on his left (throwing) elbow. "I will guess he's feeling really healthy," Tigers manager Jim Leyland said, "and I don't think he was before surgery."

The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Tigers RP Macay McBride (elbow) will miss the remainder of the Arizona Fall League season after he was diagnosed with a small stress fracture in this left elbow. The stress fracture is two to three centimeters in length and should heal with eight weeks of rest, according to his agent, B.B. Abbott.
